When will my travel insurance policy commence?

Your travel insurance policy will be issued as soon as you we accept your application and issue your policy document. If you purchase a policy which includes insurance for Section 1 Cancellation Fees - as specified in your policy document and the Product Disclosure Statement - then this aspect of your cover takes effect as soon as the policy is issued.

All other benefits will be effective from the commencement date shown on your Certificate of Insurance.

All our travel insurance policies come with a 14-day money back guarantee, which means that if you change your mind within 2 weeks of buying your policy you can cancel and get a full refund on your premium, provided you haven’t commenced your journey and you haven’t made, and don’t intend to make, a claim.
